About Charlotte Gerson
Charlotte Gerson (1922 to 2019) founded the Gerson Institute and was the daughter of Dr Max Gerson, who developed the nutritional programme known as the Gerson Therapy. Born in Germany, her family fled the Nazi regime before she eventually settled in the United States. In 1977 she founded the Institute to carry her father's work forward, and she went on to lecture on it at hundreds of health organisations around the world.
